You know that nightmare when you suddenly realise you’re standing stark naked in front of your entire school during some kind of ceremonial assembly and then all of your teeth fall out? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Denise Welch after she won Celebrity Big Brother. Kind of.
On Sunday she was pictured roaring with laughter at her husband’s 60th birthday party in Alderley Edge, Cheshire minus a tooth. Returning to work the next day on the Loose Women panel she explained to co-hosts Sherrie Hewson and Carol McGiffin that it had fallen out on Friday night, after she scooped the Big Brother crown. (We’re being metaphorical – there isn’t an actual crown. Which is a shame). It’s said she also spent a night with him before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house… When asked by the other Loose Women about it though she said ‘everything’s fine at home’ referring to her relationship with her hubby of 23 years and the father of her two kids.
