A MAN has been fined by magistrates in Leeds over illegal claims that he was qualified to work as a dentist.
Appearing before Leeds magistrates, Raja Nadeem Zakir, who was based in Dewsbury at the time of the offence, was fined £500.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and full costs to the General Dental Council (GDC) which totalled nearly £1,800. best implant dentist london
He pleaded guilty to the offence of unlawfully using the title dentist which is contrary to the Dentists Act of 1984.

Leeds Magistrates’ Court was told that between March 21 and on or around April 4 last year, Zakir, who was not a registered dentist, unlawfully used the description ‘dentist’ on a website, which it was said implied that he was registered to work as a dentist in the UK.
