Dangerous teeth-whitening procedures that cause painful mouth ulcers and permanent enamel damage are being performed by untrained individuals in shopping malls, beauty salons and at “bleaching parties”.
The Australian Dental Association is lobbying the Federal Government to introduce legislation to prevent unqualified people from performing teeth-whitening procedures.
