Dentsply International Inc. said Friday that regulators have cleared its purchase of Astra Tech AB, a unit of AstraZeneca PLC that makes dental implants london and urology products.
Dentsply said it expects to close the $1.79 billion deal on Aug. 31. When the companies announced the sale in June, Dentsply said it expected to complete the acquisition by the end of 2011. Acquiring Astra Tech makes Dentsply one of the world’s largest dental implant london companies.
