Teething troubles are latest unlucky break for Andy Murray

Andy Murray has broken new ground and one of his teeth at Roland Garros but says he is not satisfied as he prepares to faceRafael Nadal, the King of Clay, for a place in the final of the French Open.

Murray had never previously been past the fourth round at this Grand Slam and tomorrow will come up against the Spaniard, who hopes to celebrate his 25th birthday in style by staying on course for a sixth title here.

Yesterday, Nadal beat fifth seed Robin Soderling 6-4, 6‑1, 7-6 shortly before Murray stuttered to victory over Juan Ignacio Chela 7-6, 7-5, 6-2 in a match which proved the Briton can deal with the ankle ligament damage that forces him to take numerous pain killers just to step onto court….read more
